Le 30 Juin 2009, T.E.R.R.R.E.Liban a clôturé son projet "L'Ecocitoyen Libanais" appliqué dans 1139 écoles officielles primaires et complémentaires sur tout le territoire libanais.
مع بداية العام الدراسي 2008 – 2009 وفي إطار مشروعها المواطن البيئي اللبناني" الذي يهدف إلى نشر شرعة المواطن البيئي اللبناني على كافة الأراضي اللبنانيّة، لتحسين سلوك المواطن تجاه بيئته، تدعو جمعيّة الأرض – لبنان جميع المدارس، خاصّة ورسميّة، إلى تطبيق البند السابع من الشرعة "المواطن البيئي يتناول طعامًا صحّيًا وطازجًا وطبيعيًا" إذ إنّ النظام الغذائي لطلاّبنا لا يقلّ أهميّة عن النظام الدراسي ويؤثّر مباشرةً على أدائهم المدرسي ونشاطهم اليومي.
تتعرّض غابات لبنان يومياً للقطع العشوائي والحرائق مما يشكّل خطراً كبيراً على البيئة والتنوّع البيولوجي ويفقد لبنان ثروته التي تميّزه عن باقي الدول المجاورة وتجعل منه لبنان الأخضر!
منذ العام 1995، أطلقت جمعيّة الأرض- لبنان حملة وطنية تحت إسم "مستهلك الورق المتنبّه" "Papivore Malin" الّتي تهدفإلى التّربية على فرز النّفايات الورقية من أجل حلّ مشكلة النفايات المنزليّة الصلبة.
Après quinze ans d’activités dans le domaine de l’éducation à l’environnement et au développement durable, T.E.R.R.E. Liban a rédigé une charte de 12 règlements qui aident le citoyen libanais à avoir un comportement respectueux de son environnement, sous le nom de « la charte de l’Ecocitoyen Libanais ».
All nature reserves in Lebanon
are far from the nearest crowded residential area in Lebanon
(Beirut and
it suburbs). And nature reserves (such as Al-Shouf Nature Reserve, Tannourine Nature
Reserve, and Ehden Nature Reserve) are at a high altitude where roads are
completely closed in the winter season because of snow. Other coastland nature
reserves (such as SourCoast
and PalmIsland)
are opened only 2-3 months every year during in the summer season.
And from a different perspective,
the construction of roads, bridges and buildings is evolving more and more with
the rapid increase of the population and the mere absence of rural development which
leads to an over crowdedness in the urban areas and its suburbs.
