Chenille processionnaire : l’hiver trop doux et le retard dans la prévention sont les principales causes

Une branche de pin attaquée par des milliers de chenilles.
Si la chenille processionnaire, qui attaque les pins, n'est pas un problème nouveau, sa présence dans les forêts atteint cette année des proportions catastrophiques. Le principal responsable ?

المشروع النموذجي لمراقبة ومكافحة الحرائق في غابات لبنان
وافتتاح أول برج مراقبة لحرائق الغابات
برعاية وزير الداخليّة والبلديّات المحامي زياد بارود، تمّ افتتاح اللّقاءات التدريبيّة لبلدات وقرى جبل الأكثر عرضةً لحرائق الغابات ضمن المشروع النموذجي لمراقبة ومكافحة الحرائق في غابات لبنان وذلك يوم الثلاثاء الواقع فيه الأوّل من أيلول 2009 عند الساعة العاشرة صباحاً في غابة خندق الرهبان بعبدا.
Le 8 Août 2009, 300 personnes ont participé à la manifestation organisée par T.E.R.R.E.Liban à Kfardebian pour lutter contre la destruction du pont de kfardebian; ceci en collaboration avec l'association APSAD et en la présence du député Mtre Ghassan Moukhayber.
Après la conférence de presse, M. Paul Abi Rached a Clôturé la journée par un concert de chansons écologiques autour du thème de la manifestation.
T.E.R.R.E. Liban and in partnership with SDC (Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation) is preparing for a clean up day at Tyre coast on July 3rd 2009 from 4:00pm till 7:00 pm.
Many ambassadors will participate in the clean up campaign.
Each person will be given a T-shirt and a hat specially designed for this campaign and the organization will provide each participant with gloves and bags to collect waste from the sandy beach at Tyre coast (mainly in the nature reserve area) in addition to a snack break.
We are looking forward that all T.E.R.R.E. Liban members participate in this campaign.
A bus will transport all members from Baabda (in front of T.E.R.R.E. Liban) to Tyre coast.
The departure is at 2:00pm

Within the scope of environmental friendly walks, financed by la Région Ile de France and organised by T.E.R.R.E. Liban at the pine forest Green House, created within the scope of Beirut city council and Région Ile de France coopération, and aimed to better manage the activities, the Association offers Beirut schools teachers a training, leaded by M. Paul Abi Rached, with the subject «the pine Forest park : a refuge for Beirut birds».
Dans le Cadre du Projet environnement et Ecocitoyenneté, en Collaboration avec la Coopération Linguistique et Educative, Paul Abi Rached président et directeur de T.E.R.R.E.Liban anime les rencontres suivantes :
