تنفّذ جمعيّة الأرض لبنان Terre Liban مشروع حُماة الغابات بالشراكة مع Danmission بهدف حماية النظم البيئية الحرجية في لبنان من خلال تمكين المجتمعات المحلية للعب دور فاعل في مراقبة وحماية الغابات. يستهدف المشروع المناطق ذات الكثافة الحرجية العالية، ويعزز الوعي والمساءلة القانونية والمشاركة المجتمعية لمواجهة الأنشطة غير القانونية، والانتهاكات البيئية، والتهديدات التي تطال الموارد الطبيعية. ويرتكز المشروع على تطوير تطبيق حُماة الغابات  للهواتف الذكية، والذي يُتيح للمستخدمين الإبلاغ عن الانتهاكات بشكل آني، مجهول وآمن. من خلال الدمج بين الابتكار الرقمي والعمل المجتمعي، يُعزز المشروع ثقافة المساءلة البيئية، ويشجّع المشاركة المواطنية، ويُقوّي العلاقة بين المجتمعات المحلية والأجهزة الأمنية لضمان حماية الغابات على المدى الطويل.

Green Rangers Project

The Green Rangers project, implemented by Terre Liban in partnership with Danmission, aims to protect Lebanon’s forest ecosystems by empowering local communities to take an active role in environmental monitoring. Targeting high forest-density areas, the project promotes awareness, legal reporting, and civic engagement to address illegal activities, environmental violations, and threats to natural resources. A central feature of the initiative is the development of the Green Rangers mobile application, which enables users to report violations in real-time, anonymously and securely. By combining digital innovation with grassroots action, Green Rangers fosters environmental accountability, encourages citizen participation, and strengthens the link between communities and law enforcement to ensure long-term forest conservation.
